The 10kV State Grid Standard Compact Prefabricated Substation, also known as a compact box-type substation, is suitable for power distribution projects where installation space is limited but reliable high-voltage protection and complete functional configuration are required.
The product adopts a compact structure with a width of only 1350mm, making it suitable for installation in urban road green belts without affecting the normal passage of vehicles and pedestrians. Because the high-voltage section uses a ring main unit with comprehensive protection functions, the product can also be used in residential communities, docks, stations, highways, elevated bridges and temporary construction sites.
The substation adopts a compact multi-compartment grid layout. It can be configured as terminal-type or ring-network-type power supply. From left to right, the standard layout includes the high-voltage room, transformer room and low-voltage room. According to the requirements of intelligent substations, it can also be equipped with a metering room, data acquisition room and DTU room, forming a compact substation with up to six functional compartments.
This product integrates the advantages of ZGS combined transformers and European-style high-voltage/low-voltage prefabricated substations. It combines compact size with complete high-voltage protection functions, making it suitable for urban distribution scenarios with limited installation space.
The compact substation has the structural advantages of an American-style box transformer, including compact layout and small overall dimensions. It is suitable for installation in areas where space is limited.

The high-voltage room, transformer room and low-voltage room are arranged from left to right. According to intelligent substation requirements, metering room, data acquisition room and DTU room can also be added.
The transformer is placed inside the fully enclosed cabinet, which helps reduce noise and radiation. The compact internal arrangement also supports a more organized substation structure.
The complete substation has a relatively high protection grade and can be used in places with salt fog or heavy dust conditions.
The compact design helps save installation space. The occupied area is about one third of that of a European-style box transformer, helping reduce civil construction requirements.
