New Energy Box-type Wind Power Substation

The special box transformer for new energy power generation is a type of high-voltage/low-voltage pre-assembled substation (hereinafter referred to as the substation) that integrates high-voltage switchgear, transformer body, protection fuses into the oil tank, and is combined with low-voltage switch cabinets and corresponding auxiliary supporting equipment. It is a dedicated voltage boosting device that boosts the voltage from the grid-connected inverters (or AC generators) of new energy sources to 10KV or 35kV, and then outputs electrical energy through 10kV or 35kV lines for grid connection. It is an ideal supporting equipment for the new energy power generation system.

4. Robust Environmental Resistance 

Special Surface Treatment: The enclosure undergoes a shot blasting process, providing excellent anti-corrosion and anti-UV properties, effectively resisting sandstorm erosion in harsh environments.


5. Advanced Low-Voltage Protection 

Intelligent Switchgear: The low-voltage side is equipped with the latest domestic intelligent circuit breakers and molded case air switches, offering high breaking capacity and superior protection performance.

Comprehensive Protection: Ensures reliable overcurrent, short-circuit, and earth fault protection for the entire system.


6. Remote Monitoring & Smart Operation 

Built-in Communication Interfaces: The oil tank can be fitted with pressure gauges and thermometers with communication ports, enabling real-time condition monitoring.

Remote Control: Load switches can be equipped with travel switches, supporting remote monitoring, operation, and maintenance—critical for unmanned renewable energy facilities.


7. High Ingress Protection (IP Rating) 

Full Sealed Design: The enclosure features a fully sealed structure, meeting an IP54 rating for the high-voltage and low-voltage compartments and an IP68 rating for the transformer body.

Rugged Durability: Ensures reliable operation in harsh environments including dust, heavy rain, and salt spray.
